Dope Lips...No More?

So I was going to wait a little longer until a definite date was set to post about this, but it seems that date may never arrive. A few weeks ago Teyana Taylor announced the launch of her very own lip gloss line, Dope Lips. Initially introducing four color ways, (Barbie, Traffic Stop, Sweet 16, and Skinny Dip) this product was set to introduce a business savvy side of Teyana. Unfortunately, ties were severed between her and her business partner, hence the halt of production. Despite such misfortune, these promo pictures look great.

Beyonce Feat. Lady Gaga - Video Phone.

This video is extremely visually appealing (perhaps even too much) thanks to the expertise of director Hype Williams, but almost pointless in the sense that it lacks any real degree of substance. It sort of reminded me of Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance' with the high fashion attractiveness, only better.

Speaking of Gaga, I don't really feel she was necessary, at all. In fact, she looked quite silly next to Beyonce, and slightly ruined my viewing experience. This goes to show that two big industry names collaborating will not always be a success. Ms. Knowles killed it by herself. I don't reckon I've seen so many outfit changes in a video in a long time.

But wow, Beyonce looked so stunning, especially in the pinup girl look with the red lips. HOT HOT HOT!

Shady Business.

This weekend I will be going down to San Diego and I'm pretty stoked! I anticipate to have oodles of fun, as a friend native to the area will be showing me around to all of the hot spots. Hopefully I can come across some stellar thrift shops.

History on Your Feet.

Originally seen gracing the feet of Michael Jordan in the movie Space Jam way back in '96, these bad boys are soon to be releasing just in time for the holiday season. Suggested retail price is $175, which is not too shabby given Flight Club and similar shoe sites are selling them for about $350 and up. I've always been iffy on XI's because they look weird and overly dude-ish on girls, but I think I might be able to pull them off. Hopefully I manage to come across a pair, because I most certainly will not be doing any camping outside of any sort.
